How to embed a form into Webflow or Framer

Short answer: both accept a plain responsive iframe, and neither shows it while you are editing. Generate the snippet once and it works in either tool.

The steps, side by side

Webflow
  1. Open the page or CMS template in the Webflow Designer.
  2. Drag an Embed element from the Add panel into the layout.
  3. Paste the snippet from the generator below and click Save & Close.
  4. Publish — Webflow renders embeds only on the published site.
Framer
  1. Open the Framer project and select the page.
  2. Insert → Embed, then drop the component on the canvas.
  3. Paste the snippet into the Embed properties panel.
  4. Publish, then check the live URL — the canvas preview stays blank.

Embed code generator

Paste any form URL — LemForms, Typeform, Tally, Jotform, Google Forms or Paperform. The same snippet works in both builders.

Aspect-ratio wrapper, scales to width

<div style="position:relative;padding-top:62.5%;width:100%;">
  <iframe
    src="https://lemforms.com/f/your-form-id"
    style="position:absolute;inset:0;width:100%;height:100%;border:0;"
    loading="lazy"
    title="Embedded form"
  ></iframe>
</div>
Paste the snippet into the HTML of any platform — WordPress (Custom HTML block), Webflow (Embed), Framer (Embed), Wix (HTML iframe), Squarespace (Code block), Shopify (Custom Liquid), Notion (Embed), Ghost (HTML card), Carrd (Embed), or plain HTML.

Live preview

This is the exact iframe your visitors will see. If it looks wrong here, it will look wrong on your site.

Where to paste it, per platform

WordPress

Block editor → add a Custom HTML block, paste, then Preview.

Gotcha: Classic editor strips iframes in Visual mode — switch to the Text tab first.

Webflow

Add an Embed element (Add panel → Components → Embed) and paste.

Gotcha: Embeds don't render in the Designer canvas — use Preview or publish to see the form.

Framer

Insert → Utility → Embed, choose HTML, paste the snippet.

Gotcha: Set the frame to Fixed height, or the iframe collapses to 0px.

Wix

Add → Embed Code → Embed HTML → Code, paste, then resize the box.

Gotcha: Wix wraps embeds in a fixed box — drag it taller than the form or it scrolls internally.

Squarespace

Add a Code block, set it to HTML, paste, and untick 'Display Source'.

Gotcha: Code blocks are unavailable on the Personal plan — use an embed block instead.

Shopify

Theme editor → add a Custom Liquid section and paste the snippet.

Gotcha: Escape any Liquid-looking braces; Shopify tries to parse `{{ }}` inside Custom Liquid.

Full Shopify embed guide →
Notion

Type /embed, paste the form URL directly (Notion builds the iframe).

Gotcha: Notion ignores raw HTML — use the plain form URL, not the snippet.

Carrd

Add → Embed → Code, paste, set Style to Inline.

Gotcha: Carrd doesn't auto-size iframes — set an explicit height or the form gets clipped.

Frequently asked questions

How can I embed a form into Webflow or Framer?

Both use an embed block that accepts raw HTML. Generate a responsive iframe snippet, paste it into Webflow's Embed element or Framer's Embed component, then publish. Neither renders the form while you are editing.

Why is the form blank in the editor?

Webflow and Framer both disable third-party embeds inside the editor canvas. Publish the site and open the live URL to test.

Which one handles responsive forms better?

They behave the same. The responsive iframe wrapper scales to whatever container it sits in, so the form fits every breakpoint in both tools.

Can I embed a Typeform, Tally, Jotform or Google Form?

Yes. The generator takes any public form URL, not just LemForms — paste it and copy the snippet.

Do I need a paid plan to embed a form?

You need a plan that lets you publish the site. The embed itself costs nothing, and LemForms is free to start.
