Embed a form in Webflow

Webflow's Embed element accepts arbitrary HTML — including iframes. Generate the snippet, drop it in, publish.

Steps to embed in Webflow

  1. 1
    Generate the embed code

    Paste your form URL into the generator and pick a layout — Responsive works on every Webflow breakpoint.

  2. 2
    Open the Webflow Designer

    Edit the page or CMS template where the form should appear.

  3. 3
    Drag in an Embed element

    From the Add panel, drag an Embed component into the layout.

  4. 4
    Paste and save

    Paste the snippet into the Embed editor, click Save & Close. Hit Preview to verify.

  5. 5
    Publish the site

    Webflow only renders embeds on the published site — click Publish to push live.

Webflow embed code generator

Paste your form URL — works with LemForms, Typeform, Tally, Jotform, Google Forms, Paperform, or any embeddable form. The Webflow Embed element accepts the snippet below.

Aspect-ratio wrapper, scales to width

<div style="position:relative;padding-top:62.5%;width:100%;">
  <iframe
    src="https://lemforms.com/f/your-form-id"
    style="position:absolute;inset:0;width:100%;height:100%;border:0;"
    loading="lazy"
    title="Embedded form"
  ></iframe>
</div>
Paste the snippet into the HTML of any platform — WordPress (Custom HTML block), Webflow (Embed), Framer (Embed), Wix (HTML iframe), Squarespace (Code block), Shopify (Custom Liquid), Notion (Embed), Ghost (HTML card), Carrd (Embed), or plain HTML.

This is the exact iframe your visitors will see. If it looks wrong here, it will look wrong on your site.

Where to paste it, per platform

WordPress

Block editor → add a Custom HTML block, paste, then Preview.

Gotcha: Classic editor strips iframes in Visual mode — switch to the Text tab first.

Webflow

Add an Embed element (Add panel → Components → Embed) and paste.

Gotcha: Embeds don't render in the Designer canvas — use Preview or publish to see the form.

Framer

Insert → Utility → Embed, choose HTML, paste the snippet.

Gotcha: Set the frame to Fixed height, or the iframe collapses to 0px.

Wix

Add → Embed Code → Embed HTML → Code, paste, then resize the box.

Gotcha: Wix wraps embeds in a fixed box — drag it taller than the form or it scrolls internally.

Squarespace

Add a Code block, set it to HTML, paste, and untick 'Display Source'.

Gotcha: Code blocks are unavailable on the Personal plan — use an embed block instead.

Shopify

Theme editor → add a Custom Liquid section and paste the snippet.

Gotcha: Escape any Liquid-looking braces; Shopify tries to parse `{{ }}` inside Custom Liquid.

Full Shopify embed guide →
Notion

Type /embed, paste the form URL directly (Notion builds the iframe).

Gotcha: Notion ignores raw HTML — use the plain form URL, not the snippet.

Carrd

Add → Embed → Code, paste, set Style to Inline.

Gotcha: Carrd doesn't auto-size iframes — set an explicit height or the form gets clipped.

Using both Webflow and Framer?

The iframe code is the same, but the editor steps and responsive controls differ. Compare both workflows before you publish.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see the form in the Designer?

Webflow renders embeds only on the published site — preview the live URL after publishing.

Does it work on CMS-collection pages?

Yes. Use the Embed element inside the template; reference a CMS field to dynamically swap the form URL per item.

What's the character limit?

Webflow Embed elements support up to 50,000 characters — far more than any form snippet needs.

Can I reuse the same Webflow embed across CMS pages?

Yes. Put the Embed element in the CMS template and use a CMS URL field to change the form source for each collection item.

Can I embed a Google Form in Webflow?

Yes. Paste the Google Forms link into the generator above and drop the snippet into the Embed element.
