Embed a form in Wix Studio

Wix Studio is not classic Wix — the editor, breakpoints and elements differ. Here's the Embed Code route that works in Studio, with a generator for the snippet.

Steps to embed in Wix Studio

  1. Generate the embed code

    Paste your form URL into the generator below and pick Responsive so it survives every Studio breakpoint.

  2. Open the Wix Studio editor

    Select the page or section where the form belongs.

  3. Add an Embed Code element

    Click Add → Embed & Social → Embed Code, then choose 'Embed HTML'.

  4. Paste the snippet

    Paste the code into the HTML panel and apply. Resize the element to fit the form.

  5. Check every breakpoint

    Studio scales elements per breakpoint — check desktop, tablet and mobile before publishing.

  6. Publish

    Publish the site; embeds render only on the live URL.

WordPress

Block editor → add a Custom HTML block, paste, then Preview.

Gotcha: Classic editor strips iframes in Visual mode — switch to the Text tab first.

Theme editor → add a Custom Liquid section and paste the snippet.

Gotcha: Escape any Liquid-looking braces; Shopify tries to parse `{{ }}` inside Custom Liquid.

Type /embed, paste the form URL directly (Notion builds the iframe).

Gotcha: Notion ignores raw HTML — use the plain form URL, not the snippet.

Frequently asked questions

Is Wix Studio different from Wix for embeds?

Yes. Studio uses the Embed Code element and responsive breakpoints rather than classic Wix's absolute positioning, so the element must be sized per breakpoint.

Why is the form cut off in Wix Studio?

The Embed element has its own height. Stretch the element to the form's full height, or use the responsive snippet so the frame scales with its container.

Can I use it on a CMS page?

Yes. Place the Embed Code element inside the CMS page layout; you can vary the form URL per item with a dataset.

Do I need a premium Wix plan?

You need a published site. Embed Code elements work on Studio sites once published to a live domain.
