Google Forms on Carrd — embed it, or replace it

Carrd accepts raw HTML, so a Google Form will load — it just brings Google's chrome, Google's fonts and a fixed height with it. Here's the embed code, plus what to do when the seams show.

Embed Google Forms in Carrd

  1. Get the form URL

    In Google Forms click Send, choose the link icon, and copy the URL.

  2. Generate the embed code

    Paste that URL into the embed generator below and pick Responsive.

  3. Add an Embed element in Carrd

    In the Carrd editor, add an Embed element and set its type to Code.

  4. Paste and publish

    Paste the snippet, save, then publish the Carrd site and test on a phone.

  5. Swap it when you outgrow it

    Rebuild the same questions in LemForms and replace only the URL inside the snippet — the Carrd side never changes.

Block editor → add a Custom HTML block, paste, then Preview.

Gotcha: Classic editor strips iframes in Visual mode — switch to the Text tab first.

Gotcha: Escape any Liquid-looking braces; Shopify tries to parse `{{ }}` inside Custom Liquid.

Yes. Carrd's Embed element accepts an iframe on the free plan — no Pro upgrade needed for a code embed.

Why is my Google Form cut off in Carrd?

Google sets a fixed iframe height. Use the responsive variant below, or raise the height value in the snippet until the whole form fits.

Can I keep my existing Google Forms responses?

Yes — export them to CSV from Google Sheets first. Switching the embed only changes where new responses go.
